The Brute Course at Grand Geneva

The Brute Course at Grand Geneva plays very true to its name. Measuring nearly 7000 yards from the back tees, this course puts a premium on driving the ball long and straight.

The front nine is highlighted by the 400 yard ninth hole with water on the left. There is not a lot of room for bailing out on the tee shot however, a bunker guards the right side. A par on this hole is a great way to make the turn.

The course features some dynamic hazards and is highlighted by the eighteenth hole. Water guards the entire right side and will penalize any player that gets overly aggresive. While the majority of the greens on this course a large, they are not flat. Players will do well to get down in 2 on most holes.

Offering a nice contrast to the Highlands (also located at this facility) the Brute will test players in all aspects of their game. The course is kept in magnificent condition and should not be missed.
